ENERGYLINK SERVICES
Deliver your energy transition project
EnergyLink delivers turn-key integrated energy and decarbonisation projects from concept through to commissioning combining engineering, commercial strategy and certificate generation to implement projects that reduce emissions, lower operating costs and unlock long-term value.

Our project implementation team generates certificates across a number of federal, state and international schemes to maximise value from projects. Our trading team works with clients to monetise the certificates in the market, manage future certificate exposure and secure long-term offtakes.

EnergyLink Services is a Corporate Authorised Representative of Balmedie Financial Pty Ltd (ABN: 81 159 803 415, AFS Licence No: 434899). We are licenced to provide financial advice across carbon markets, structured offtakes and derivatives.

Why It Matters
Many energy and decarbonisation projects stall between strategy and execution due to delivery complexity, fragmented stakeholders, or underutilised funding and certificate opportunities. EnergyLink bridges that gap through integrated project delivery, commercial optimisation and end-to-end certificate management.

How EnergyLink Helps
• Develop technically and commercially viable project pathways
• Design and deliver integrated energy infrastructure projects
• Manage procurement, contractors and commissioning
• Support renewable energy, carbon and certificate strategies
• Identify funding, certificate and revenue optimisation opportunities
• Provide flexible delivery models including turnkey and Energy-as-a-Service structures
• Support compliance, reporting and market participation across evolving certificate schemes
1. CERTIFICATES

$50 million+ in certificate revenue unlocked across carbon and energy markets.

1.1. AUSTRALIAN CARBON CREDITS (ACCUs)

EnergyLink has helped register 8+ projects and unlocked a $36 million+ certificate pipeline for clients.
We support organisations to develop and monetise emissions reduction projects- converting abatement into Australian Carbon Credit Units (ACCUs) and long-term revenue streams. Our experience spans biogas, industrial processes, wastewater and waste treatment projects, helping clients reduce emissions while improving project economics and future-proofing operations against increasing decarbonisation pressures. EnergyLink has supported 25% of Animal Effluent Management ACCU projects in Australia and continues to work with clients to identify opportunities under new and evolving ACCU methodologies.

Methodologies We Support
We work across a range of ACCU methodologies, including:
-
Animal Effluent Management (AEM)
-
Industrial and Commercial Emissions Reduction (ICER)
-
Alternative Waste Treatment (AWT)
-
Wastewater and biogas methodologies

Related Services
Animal Effluent Management (AEM)
Generate ACCUs by reducing emissions from animal effluent systems using methane capture or solid separation technologies, applicable to piggeries and dairies across Australia. Projects using solid separators and aerobic treatment can generate ACCUs for up to 12 years, while methane capture and combustion projects can generate ACCUs for up to 15 years.

For piggeries and dairies, AEM projects can deliver:
-
Long-term, stable revenue streams
-
Improved waste management outcomes
-
Reduced emissions footprints
-
Enhanced project economics through biogas utilisation

Industrial and Commercial Emissions Reduction (ICER)
The Industrial and Commercial Emissions Reduction (ICER) method enables organisations to generate ACCUs by reducing emissions through process improvements, fuel switching, energy efficiency upgrades and operational optimisation.
For industrial facilities, emissions reductions are measured against an approved baseline, independently verified, and issued as ACCUs by the Clean Energy Regulator. These ACCUs can then be sold to create additional revenue streams or used to support compliance and decarbonisation objectives.
EnergyLink supports clients in identifying and implementing eligible ICER opportunities across industrial, manufacturing, wastewater and energy-intensive operations.

1.2. ENERGY EFFICIENCY CERTIFICATES

Our partners have registered 20+ projects and unlocked a $14 million+ certificate pipeline for clients.
We can help organisations understand project eligibility under the VEU and ESS schemes converting energy savings into Victorian Energy Efficiency Certificates (VEECs) or Energy Savings Certificates (ESCs). Our project implementation team supports Sigma Global as an Accredited Persons (VEU scheme) and Accredited Certificate Provider (ESS Scheme). EECs are generated through eligible emissions reductions or energy savings. This can be accomplished through both deemed methods and Measured and Verification (M&V). M&V methods such as Project Based Activities (PBA) under the VEU scheme and Project Impact Assessment with M&V (PIAM&V) provide greater flexibility on the eligible project types. Your optimal certificate pathway will depend on your goals and project type.
